LLM Builder in Minecraft

The LLM Builder in Minecraft was the first project I taught for AI Club, and one of the first beginner projects for AI Club as a whole. The project is a beginner-friendly course where participants learn how to create a LLM bot that can build structures in Minecraft. Throughout the semester, I helped members learn AI, prompt engineering, and RAG. Quite a lot for a beginner project! I learned how to pace technically challenging content and how to help students during in person help room sessions. That year, I grew a lot as teacher.

This project was especially special to me because one of the participants went on to succeed me as a board member of AI Club. Watching him grow as a engineer and leader was a very rewarding experience for me and passion my love for teaching.
