Movie Recommender

The Movie Recommender project was the second project I taught for AI Club. The project taught students all the steps to take in data and cleanly recommend it to users. I learned a lot from teaching the LLM Builder in Minecraft from the semester prior. I kept the project super slow, focusing on understanding instead of breadth knowledge. I spent extra time teaching pandas and SQL, even though they were not directly related to the AI algorithm.

However, some students shocked me. The winner of the project went above and beyond, adding images to the movie profiles and building upon the recommendation algorithm.
